The Group Folkorico "Monte Patulo" it is born to S. Angelo Romano (Rome), in 1977 with the purpose to rediscover and to divulge the popular traditions by now disappearances, of S.Angelo Romano and of the province in Rome. It takes the name from the hill above which the ancient one rose "Medullia" (now Sant'Angelo Romano).
   The repertoire attentively founds him on songs, dances and historical rievocazioni rediscoveries and selected by the same members of the gruppo. It?s constituted by around 25 people and it has in the really organic Organetto, Accordion, Flute, Trumpet, Oboe, Caccavella, Triccheballacche, Tamburelle and others you orchestrate to percussion typical of center-southern Italy.
    He has effected many shows both in Italy and to the foreign countries, receiving thanks to the variety and the vivacity of the dances, unanimous consent of public and criticism, among the most important we remember:

    It has in the intent to keep on divulging all over the world the traditional folklore, "for the peace, the friendship and the brotherhood among the people."
